Reflexology: Bondi Junction

Your body already knows what it needs. Sometimes it just needs help being heard.

There's a reason reflexology has been practised for thousands of years. Not because people lacked better options. But because it works in a way that most modern therapies don't quite reach, not just on the body, but through it.

At The Movement Philosophy in Bondi Junction, Kerrie Baldock brings over 30 years of experience to a practice that is quietly one of the most underestimated therapies available. If you've never tried reflexology, or you've only ever thought of it as a foot massage with a story attached, this page is worth reading.

What Reflexology Actually Is

Reflexology is based on the principle that specific points on the feet, face and ears correspond to organs, systems and structures throughout the body. By applying precise pressure to these reflex points, a skilled practitioner can influence function, reduce tension and support the body's own capacity to regulate and heal.

It is not massage. It is not guesswork. And it is not simply relaxation, though most people find it profoundly relaxing as a byproduct.

Think of it as a conversation with your nervous system. One that bypasses the noise and gets straight to the signal.

What Kerrie Offers

Foot Reflexology The foundation of reflexology practice. Kerrie works systematically through reflex points on the feet that correspond to every major organ and system in the body. People come for everything from chronic stress and sleep disruption to digestive issues, hormonal imbalance, fatigue and pain management. Sessions leave most people feeling simultaneously lighter and more grounded, a combination that is harder to find than it sounds.

Facial Reflexology A more refined and increasingly recognised modality that works with reflex points on the face. The face has an exceptionally dense network of nerve endings and a direct relationship with the brain through the cranial nerves. Facial reflexology can be particularly effective for stress, tension headaches, sinus congestion, jaw tightness and neurological support. It is also deeply calming in a way that is difficult to describe until you've experienced it.

Tibetan Reflexology One of the oldest forms of reflexology, rooted in Tibetan medicine. Kerrie is one of a small number of practitioners in Australia trained in this approach. It works with energy pathways throughout the body and is particularly valued for its capacity to support emotional and energetic balance alongside physical wellbeing.

Cosmo Face Reflex Lifting A specialised facial technique that combines reflexology principles with approaches that support facial tone, circulation and lymphatic drainage. Non-invasive, deeply relaxing and with effects that go well beyond the surface.

Maternity Reflexology Reflexology has a well-established role in supporting women through pregnancy, labour preparation and postnatal recovery. Kerrie is trained in maternity reflexology and works with women at all stages, from managing pregnancy discomfort to supporting natural labour onset and postpartum recovery.

Auriculotherapy Ear reflexology. The ear contains a remarkably complete map of the body and auriculotherapy uses this to address everything from pain management to stress and habit support. Often used alongside other reflexology modalities.

About Kerrie

Kerrie Baldock has been working in natural therapies for over 30 years. That's not a number dropped in to sound impressive. It represents decades of clinical observation, continuing education and genuine mastery of a set of disciplines that reward experience above almost everything else.

Her qualifications include Diplomas in Holistic Counselling, Reflexology, Facial Reflexology, Tibetan Reflexology and Cosmo Face Reflex Lifting. She is also trained in Maternity Reflexology, Auriculotherapy, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Reiki Master level and Reconnective Healing.

What that means in practice is a practitioner who can meet you wherever you are. Whether you arrive with a physical complaint, an emotional load, a sleep problem or simply a sense that something is off and you're not quite sure what — Kerrie has the range and the experience to work with it.

Holistic Counselling

Alongside her reflexology practice, Kerrie offers holistic counselling. This is not clinical psychotherapy. It is a whole-person approach to working through what life is presenting — stress, grief, relationship difficulty, life transitions, anxiety, or simply the accumulated weight of a demanding world.

Holistic counselling draws on a range of frameworks including EFT, Reiki and energy-based approaches, woven together with genuine listening and decades of experience sitting with people in difficulty. For many clients it becomes the most important part of their care.

Sessions are available standalone or integrated with reflexology treatment.

Who Benefits

Reflexology and holistic counselling attract a wide range of people. What they tend to have in common is that they've either tried everything else, or they're smart enough to start here.

Specifically, people come to Kerrie for:

  • Chronic stress and anxiety that isn't shifting

  • Sleep problems that have become a way of life

  • Hormonal disruption including menstrual irregularity, perimenopause and menopause

  • Pregnancy support and labour preparation

  • Fatigue that goes beyond what rest seems to fix

  • Digestive discomfort and gut-related issues

  • Tension headaches and jaw tightness

  • Emotional processing during difficult life periods

  • General maintenance and nervous system reset

Reflexology at The Movement Philosophy

Kerrie practises at The Movement Philosophy inside Elixr Health Clubs at Level 2C, 9 Bronte Road, Bondi Junction. The clinic setting matters. Being part of an integrated allied health environment means Kerrie's work sits alongside osteopathy, rehabilitation, massage, diagnostic imaging and longevity medicine. When appropriate, practitioners collaborate. When a patient needs more than one lens on their situation, that conversation can happen within the same clinic rather than across a scattered referral network.

It is one of the things that makes The Movement Philosophy genuinely different from a standalone therapy room.

Kerrie is available on Sundays. Appointments are by booking only.

Serving clients from Bondi Junction, Bondi, Woollahra, Double Bay, Paddington, Randwick, Coogee and across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.
